Following a big week of decisions by the Supreme Court, including landmark rulings on President Obama’s Affordable Care Act and same-sex marriage, Sarah Palin, TV “personality” and former “governor” of “Alaska”, has calle for the impeachment of the Supreme Court justices who upheld both decisions.
“I wasn’t entirely sure what impeachment meant,” Palin said, winking. “After about an hour on the Googles, I still couldn’t figure it out, but the way John McCain explained it to me, it sounded bad, so… Let’s do that!”
Palin’s indictment comes as a surprise to most, as she is no longer involved in politics in any serious capacity and was utterly useless when she was. Liberal commentators are labeling it as partisan posturing while conservatives are using it as a rally cry. A Republican-controlled House of Representative could possibly pass articles of impeachment which a Republican Senate could potentially vote to remove 5-6 justices from office, if everyone wasn’t so sure it would be a colossal waste of their time.
